Congratulations Rev Fred Tan

Our heartiest congratulations to our Chaplain, Rev Fred Tan for his recent ordination as an Elder of The Methodist Church in Singapore on 26 November 2009. He ministers with his wife, Jasmine at Bedok Methodist Church. He testified the goodness of God’s grace at SA AGM held on 28 November, how he became a Christian when he was a Boy in the 25th BB Coy in 1967. It was during his service in SA Management Committee, that prompted him to enter the pastoral ministry. 1 Corinthians 15.58 was proven right that our labour in SA is never in vain in the Lord. He can raise servants and co-workers through a humble organisation like SA. “Therefore, be stedfast, immovable in all that we do, always abounding in the work of the Lord.” God is watching. What He says will come true in Revelation 22.12, “See, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay all according to their deeds.” Though we may be playing an insignificant role in the Management Committee without anyone noticing, God sees the faithfulness of His servants and multiple their deeds for His glory.
